In sunny London

Hi everyone, I am back in Blighty! I will send photos later. Technical difficulties when on the move. A lot has happened since the sunset cruise. Have seen Vikings shooting arrows at a boat to make it set on fire, whilst someone played the bag pipes. Had fish and chips on the pier whilst watching boats sailing in  and out of the harbour. Had last walk on the beach at Fannie Bay with my friend Wilson. Good flight from Darwin back to Singapore. Ate food all the way back to London on the Singapore Airlines flight, was excellent but 12 hours is a long time. Came to a Faulty Towers hotel in London near Russel Square. Have changed rooms this morning when Mrs Fisher had words at reception!!! It is lovely and sunny and have just seen lots of Mummies in the British Museum around the corner. Excellent place to go when you are doing a topic about Ancient Egypt. Off to the theatre tonight, my friend Mick has a bad dose of "jet lag" so is asleep. Going to see "War Horses". Back to Manchester tomorrow. Enjoy the end of term.

Sunset Cruise

Just to prove I went on the Sunset Cruise around the harbour. Lots of food, prawns on the barbie, steaks and fish etc. Might have been a glass of wine or two!!!

Florence Falls

Can you see Mrs Fisher swimming in the waterhole? Too high up for crocs so I am told. We  had to walk down about 150 steps to get to it.

Termite Mounds at Litchfield

I am sitting at the bottom of a termite mound which is about 12 ft high and 50 years old. There were lots of them around this area looking like stone circles.

Dingo at Territory Park

We saw lots of snakes, spiders, fish and birds yesterday. One or two dozy crocs!

Thank you for your message

I enjoyed  reading your comments. My mate Mick says G'day, good on ya mate , no worries no dramas, see you in the UK! Hope you enjoy your 70's Day. It will be interesting to see what you are wearing. I was watching pelicans at Territory Park yesterday.

A great two days.

We have seen lots of crocs in the last few days. Saltwater and fresh water ones. The freshwater ones can move like lightening. The saltwater ones look like logs, move very slowly but are much bigger and very powerful. We went on the Jumping Croc Boat where they hang meat over the boat so the crocs jump up. They were very quick so it was difficult to get a photo. Lots of fireworks tonight because it is Territorial Day. Went to watch the display out in Fannie bay. Yes I did have a sip of the "Sling". See if you can find out what a "Jabiru" is. Will send a photo tomorrow.

This is a real one. The boat was about two foot away.

He did move. He closed his mouth!

A bit too close! Scary.

Only joking!

Singapore

HI. I am very tired after a long flight. It was a very big plane! Had a swim this morning so  tail is still soggy. Stuffed myself with big breakfast. Went to Changi Village last night and had Namer Lemak chicken and coconut rice. Off to Raffles Hotel now to have Singapore Sling! Will send photos later. Hope you are all working hard while I am enjoying myself. Love Henry
